Incredible film. Acting, cinematography, even the lush sunlit countryside has an eeriness lurking just around the bend. Touches of Bergman and Bava but this is a psychological tale of jealousy and witchcraft that is quite unique, except maybe “Burn, Witch, Burn” or other film adaptations of Fritz Leiber’s “Conjure Wife”…and that comparison is only in mood or tone not in story . Highly recommended!
