Description: As Trevor drifts through Texas on collision course with a nightmare he is still haunted by the evils of the war he recently returned from and a promise he failed to keep. When a stranger offers a ride, Trevor finds himself battling the brutal homegrown evil of the Broderick family at Hoboken Hollow,a remote West Texas ranch that many visit but few ever leave.

Review:   What a fright……..! if you’re a Dennis Hopper fan I would definitely recommend checking this film out! This is not just a horror film. It goes deeper and explores how the mind works and the brutality that can come from human beings. The story takes place on a ranch that is already eerie enough, but what happens there is even scarier. Touching on themes such as violence, psychopathic tendencies, insanity and human slavery, this film is truly disturbing! The look of the film is frightening alone, and the subject matter just adds to it. It is not a typical horror film where you can tell what will happen in each scene. It really kept me on the edge of my seat! The interesting story line as well as the great actors really made the film enjoyable – and scary!

One Response to Hoboken Hollow (2006)

  1. Ho hum, Big Dennis Hopper fan, and still ho hum, he’s in and out before you know it. Hell, the credits might be better than the movie. Here’s a trivia for this one, Who is NOT in this movie? You will have to watch all the credits, and I do mean all, dang, shudda counted, but a great many. Based on a true story, loosely, so, yeah. Some nice gore though, for that alone, and combined with Dennis, worth the watch. KUDOS R/L!
