What is going on with the unusually slow download times the last couple of days? I’ve been on here a lot the last week or so. The last two days – no matter what time of day – the download rate is barely hitting 1 mb/sec, mostly averaging around 900kb/sec. The first couple of months I’ve been subscribed, it WAS averaging more like 1.7 to 2.00mb/sec. (sometimes even 2.2 – 2.5mb/sec).

I’m not very well-versed in download helper apps. I’m just clicking the link then hitting download on the TezFiles page that comes up. Since I’m subscribed to RareLust and paying the monthly fee to TezFiles, I was assuming the download time mb/per second would remain somewhat consistent. The couple other sites I subscribe to (with comparable monthly price) average between 4 – 5 mb/second. Initially for the first two months subscribing, TezFiles was fairly consistent at between 2.00–2.5 mb/second. In the last week, every day it has been averaging between 700–900 kbs/second, occasionally getting to 1.0 mb/second for a minute or two.

Thank you, RL! But when I play the file, the sound is about 200 ms ahead of the video. But I fixed it in Avidemux (should be able to find it for free) and it’s all good now! Just giving a heads up to others.

Thank you for your amazing work!!! Do you have the TV miniseries “Something is out there” a.k.a “Alien Intruder”, from 1988?

  4. Sean says:

Love British sci-fi horror of this period and had never heard of it, so thank you very much. Turned out to be a thought-provoking and visceral film, and one obviously inspired by William Sloane’s great novel To Walk the Night; a favourite!

Sadly, actress Gabriella Licudi diead a little over 2 weeks prior to this post.

Thanks so much for this film. A totally overlooked classic.

  7. RARELUST rocks says:

You are a LEGEND, thank you for fulfilling my request! In general the only way to see this classic gem is terribly-cropped on daily motion, so THANK you, RL, THANK YOU!

  8. Helen says:

    Brilliant, thanks.

  9. dmiller says:

    Thank you very much!

  10. George Hargensen says:

Excellent low-key and underrated British sci-fi film. Thanks for the high-res upload. When I wanted to purchase on BD this one, it was inexplicably sold out. Awesome!
