I first saw this film on television in 1965. It became one of a series of horror film staples showing up first on Saturday mornings and then the late-Nite Saturdays on WWOR 9 (WOR-TV; 1949-1987). I am a collector of films from all countries and decades, beginning with the early 20th century, and this is one of the films I’ve been looking for a decent copy of with subtitles. Moody, atmospheric, something mod films lack. The leading lady is quite hot. I originally watched the K. Gordon Murray version, Anglicized & dubbed, but that is harder than anything to find these days. This print looks way better, though. Mucho gracias, amigo!
