Never saw this one and in 1976 would have seen it as beneath it’s stars. Now in 2020 it’s just Blacksploitation. If you don’t work you don’t eat.
I still remember that (gorgeously) RED BAND Original Theatrical Trailer…because I SAW Said Trailer in the Movie Theater back in the day when the movie was coming out (what a bad 13-year-old I was back then…HA!). But seriously, as whacked-out and campy as this film is, just seeing Bernie Casey as that ‘rarity of rarities’–a Black Physician-turned-Mad Scientist-turned-Hulking Black Vampire Ghetto Monster–gives this film the B-Movie Sci-Fi props it deserves.
