I’ve seen this film many times and I firmly believe it is a masterpiece and one of the best films ever made. While known well in Australia and by fans of Ealing films, it has sadly and unjustly remained obscure to the rest of filmdom. I’m hoping people will give it a look, see how special it is, and pass it along to others.
