Purists note – this is an English-language dub with a new music soundtrack recorded ‘as live’, so you don’t get the thrill of recognising music cues from all your favourite 70s and 80s films or the joy of trying to work out what the hell the subtitles are trying to say.

Yup, I too prefer the original version with subs. I thought I could edit/mux this version with my copy, but it doesn’t look that much better, thus not worth my time to fuss with.

After an epic space battle, two heroes crash-land on a devastated planet, where a zombified wizard seeks the ultimate power of “human brains”, so he can destroy the Earth and achieve true immortality.

This is by far one of the worst movies ever made, and that’s why I love it.

As you may know, an original film reel for this movie was found and restored, yet those who have seen it have reported that the quality is still rather poor. Regardless, hopefully a pirated version of that restored version will eventually surface to the scene.

Thanks for this post, as it looks to be better than my so-called Betamax rip, although I prefer the Turk language version with subtitles.

Thanks tak, but the aspect ratio of your subbed version is a little off. Simple fix though by muxing it with MKVToolNix by setting the aspect ratio to 4:3.

Yikes, this one’s a real turkey!

    Looks Awesome!
    Thanks!
