My Man, VIDEO WATCHDOG Tim Lucas!!! If there’s EVER anybody with some super knowledge and a fun attitude about it (OUTSIDE of our OTHER FAVORITE TROUBLE-BOY, JOE DANTE!!), it’s HIM!! As for THE MAGIC SWORD, this Bert I. Gordon AIP Fantasy has become a COMET-TV staple recently, but to see a better print of it is a godsend as well. Again, Thank You, Rarelust!! (And Tim Lucas–You the Man!!)
This might be Gordon’s best film and thank you for including the commentary. Tim Lucas is not only concise, you can tell he loves these films like a kid in a candy store.
