this is a very strange yet excellent film. prescient to the point of prophetic in many of the themes weaving in and out of the film – perhaps modern life never does really change? – I doubt any script writer would or could have thought of something so original & completely oddball today
Scott was so good in this film that after winning and refusing the Oscar for Patton the year before, he was actually nominated again for this film!
In my humble opinion, this is the greatest film ever made. Period.
Diana Rigg is as hot in this as she was in The Avengers.
Amazing and hilarious screenplay by the late great Paddy Chayefsky and a brilliant performance by George C. Scott.
