PS: note the Architect (Dennehy) is in Rome to supervise an exhibition for Étienne-Louis Boullée, the architect who shortly prior the French Revolution promoted the idea of a cenotaph of Sir Isaac Newton as a sphere the size of the pyramid of Giza. Giulio Argan described this a “universe within a universe”, with the revolution however the project never materialized. It’s that “approaching deluge” Greenaway so frequently reminds.
