Glad you caught that and made the adjustment. In such cases I may go to the trouble of running it through a Whisper AI translation (potentially amazing results, dependent on which language and certain other factors), which I had done last night. So now there can be a comparison. May have offered that possibility to you for some previous film before, but never heard anything back. (Or maybe that was at some *other* film blog . . . . )
It would have been great if this was the fully uncut version. Perhaps that will surface at some point.

Just about anything with Carol Laure is worth checking out, in my book. For those unfamiliar, she was less famous away from home turf than fellow Canadian actress Genevieve Bujold, but every bit as much the looker in their respective primes, and equally appealing. Acting-wise I’m less certain in that comparison, but I’d say Laure was at least up to the job. This one is pretty rare, so thanks for bringing it to us.
The film has been slightly edited, removing the scene where the lovers have explicit sex and the angel ejaculates on Carol Laure’s face. Laure supposedly did the scene because the director was her current boyfriend. She probably asked for the cut.
Too bad. People should be more open-minded.
