The new blu rays also had My Amityville Horror as an extra, a 90 minute documentary that featured one of the Lutz children. He seemed a bit crazy.

This always brings back great memories. Who can forget Jody the pig with red eyes and one of James Brolin’s best performances. Much, often justified doubt over the years as to the true story element but who cares? Absolutely love this classic : )

I love this website. Thank you for your amazing, sterling work! But I find myself in a quandary about whether to recommend it to others or keep it a secret to myself. I have recommended Rarelust to a few select friends but always kind of wonder if it was a wise move. I know when sites like this go totally overground, they usually suffer in some way (censorship or evolving into something that stops resembling it’s original core purpose).

I saw Amityville Horror.
What they didn’t tell you was that line on the poster was the critics advice to the audience.
Had no interest in this, then I remembered, rarelust has been adding extras I better click. Outstanding, thank you!
This is one that scare the hell out of me as a kid. I watched it with my grandparents when it aired on basic cable in Florida. Came back into my room and the window was covered in flies. Spooky!
