‘Targets’ is an important film in a number of ways. Inspired by the Charles Whitman “Texas Tower Sniper” shootings in 1966, it follows facts somewhat well until the shooting starts. Then it veers off on a totally different path which intersects with Karloff’s story. The film is virtually two completely different tales happening simultaneously until they clash at the finale. This is one of Karloff’s greatest films in a part that mirrored his own career. Thanks for the commentary.
