Hm, the above comment is not entirely accurate. Okay, so you don’t like Anthony Perkins’s reprisal of his role as Norman Bates but “Psycho II” is not a bad film at all. In fact “Psycho II” is regarded as one of the best sequels to a classic film ever. “Psycho III” is perhaps a little sillier in many ways but still… “Psycho IV” is not the best film ever but it’s still not bad. By the way, “Psycho” and the year 1969 have no connection whatsoever. I’m assuming the above response made a typo. Anyway, check out “Psycho II, III and IV” because I’m sure you won’t be too disappointed!

      Mr. David
I’m still insist on my opinion that Psycho 1960 which directed by the greatest director ever Alfred Hitchcock is still a great milestone in the history of global cinema so far, and Hitchcock did made any sequels for his movies, so when Anthony Perkins made these sequels he just wanted to exploit the success of the first film no more, but these movies did not like the first one in suspense and excitement, taking into consideration that Anthony Perkins have no any role in acting of most violent scene in the movie (killing Marion in the shower) and Hitchcock used another sub-actor to do it.

Unfortunately Anthony Perkins lost his history when he repeated himself lumpish and silly especially after Psycho 1969 and negatively impacted on his artistic history.
