This Dutch film turned out to be really good. An estranged man turns up on the doorstep of his sister, who is less than thrilled to see him after so many years. I thought the idea of the brother filming everything, making this a movie within a movie, would be boring, but it starts to work once the boyfriend shows up, and a Power Struggle for the girl’s affection quickly develops. Big brother wants to force little sister to admit that she remembers their incestuous relationship they had when she was very young. The way he manipulates the situation to get rid of the boyfriend and get her alone is quite diabolical. Very interesting relationship movie that is in no way a “chick film.”

I feel like a version of that kissy-face image as a poster or box cover was around in indie ’90s video stores or zines back in the day… other than that, I don’t know this movie. May be my time to finally check it out.
