“Forced Entry” is the ‘brother movie’ to “Sex Wish,” another extreme roughie with Reems, released around the same time. I always wondered why “Forced Entry” got more attention than the other one, as “Sex Wish” is by far, the better of the two films. Better production values and not so damn ugly like some of the sex in “Forced Entry..” But check it out if you have interest in the 70’s East Coast Adult film scene; this one is infamous…it’s also the one film that Reems declared “a mistake,” and the one movie that he regretted being involved with; it is that nasty..
Maybe it’s because, underneath its porno images, ‘Forced Entry’ somehow managed to pull off an Anti-VietNam-War show. Noticing that it intercut rape scenes with war footages, you can help thinking about the analogy between ‘invasion of Viet Nam’ and ‘violation of an innocent woman.’ It’s simply extremly rare for a porno feature to be made like that even in the 1970s. Maybe that non-neglectable political statment help make ‘Forced Entry’ gain reputation beyond its genre merits. Just a guess.
