Thank you so much for the post!!!
Been looking for this movie for ages…

  2. Will says:

Thank you for this movie. I have been polling places like Amazon for years hoping it would be available in anything but Region 2. I’ll still buy it if/when it becomes available in Region 1, but at least for now I can watch it in decent quality.

  3. From Chicago says:

    Totally forgot about this! Thanks!!

  4. Bud Cort says:

Virginia Madsen revealed in a 2011 interview, she had bought the remake rights to this film, but couldn’t get any studio interested in making it.

‘…one of the last things I did before entering rehab treatment facilities.’

  5. George Hargensen says:

@Phaota I always wondered about the same thing… until I was told the U.S. rights holder didn’t want to pay for all the songs rights…same problem why Paramount doesn’t release “Looking for Mr.Goodbar” (all the disco songs rights in the title sequence, even the bootleg Spanish BD has only one song, leaving out all Donna Summer and Diana Ross & Simply Red songs)… you’d think they’d be more sales-oriented and less miserable when they could sell tons of copies of these movies… go figure.

  6. Wendel says:

Thank you for this rare find. For the longest time, it was not available on DVD let alone streaming services.

  7. Phaota says:

I don’t get why this has never been made available as a Region 1 US Blu-ray yet, It’s only out in Europe by Second Sight. I’ve loved this classic since it was released, more so the soundtrack (which I have my full extended 23 song edition.

  8. George Hargensen says:

Thanks so much for uploading my request… this brings old memories of my pre-teen years, when cable ran ir endlessly, and I’ve always had a soft spot for this movie in my heart and memories..

  9. Marco says:

Wow! Such a blast from my youth. Incredibly silly computer story, Giorgio Moroder music … what’s not to hate?
