Tragic at heart, like the human condition. Especially the last story. Those children on the dune. Funny often too, of course. And the music at the beginning is powerful, as is the moon dance scene. But it is sad, as sad is time and death. No more than them, of course, but feeling reality is hard, very hard.
Another rare gem. Unexpected pitfalls the likes of John Cleese taking Comedia dell’Arte to the next level, Franco/Ciccio farewell in absurd funny role, and more, this kind of cinema is presently unthinkable, HD copy thanks RL (again).
