The movie poster art is iconic and a great example of who the Italians were the masters of making incredible artwork that made even the most mediocre low budget movies look like they were exciting high end productions. No doubt such wonderful artwork scammed many poor 15-year olds at their local mom and pop shop in the early 80s when it was time to select a VHS tape in the horror section to rent for the weekend.

Remember all them naff Italian titles like Alien 2 and all the post-apocalyptic remakes that were mostly laughable compare to the originals like Mad Max and Escape From NY?

barring whites rest all are primitives. Gory movie which endorses that Tribals are cannibal

This was posted previously on this website WITHOUT the animal violence. I truly appreciated Rarelust for posting that version. It is truly a sick sign of society when an animal has to suffer for the sake of film proceeds!! It is more animalistic than the animals themselves! I dont know how any human being can sit and watch an animal being tortured. It is a depravity beyond imagination!!

  4. Ferox Fan says:

The Pig Killing is not deleted footage. its in the movie

Thanks for the new extras especially the feature length doc Eaten Alive The Rise and Fall of the Italian Cannibal Film which is very good.

Cannibal Ferox is a ferocious “video nasty” from Umberto Lenzi, a man who’s fastly becoming one of my favorite Italian sleaze provocateurs. Not for the faint of “art” or those who become squeamish at the sight of animal cruelty and real blood mixed with the fake stuff. The Amazon location shooting rivals its great influence, Cannibal Holocaust. Loved this sick masterwork.
