This followed EASY RIDER which Hopper directed. He was given carte blanche to make his next film and this was it. I really wanted to see it back then, but it was such a bomb that no theaters booked it. I finally did get to see it via a VHS tape about 20 years ago. It is a hard watch but it’s also a very interesting film if you can keep your mind on it. I’m real curious to watch it again. Thanks.

Thanks for this one! Been looking for years.

  3. One hard to find in good condition classic example of late 60’s early 70’s counter cultur film making, AKA, the the kings of excess, sex, drugs, music, and art, Hopper at his peak of psychedellia and his band of merrymaking troubadours head south, way south, consume tone, , ok, many kilos, of mushroom and other local mind expanders in their pursuit of creating the most mind expanding piece of art ever. The result is at times hard to watch, and it took an artistic toll on many involved unfortunately. But, for the find, , it’s well worth the watch, KUDOS R/L.
