  2. Erik says:

Grew up watching all the Tarzan movies on Saturday afternoons.
This one brings back great memories… Many thanks RL

  3. JDoes says:

I remember being 5-6 years old and watching any of these old black and white Tarzan movies on our black and white TV in the 70’s and Mom would turn it off, saying it was a dirty movie

    • Mr.G. says:

“That O’Sullivan swims in the nude with Weissmuller
in Tarzan and His Mate is indicative that the
picture was made with adults in mind. (There was no
nude swim in Tarzan, the Ape Man [1932], the other adult film
of the series, but O’Sullivan was pawed consistently by
Weissmuller and was placed in very sexual poses, even
on her back with the scantily clad Weissmuller leaning
over her.) In Tarzan’s Secret Treasure Tarzan and Jane
again swim in the river, but as this film is geared for
children as well as adults, O’Sullivan is fully clothed and
the couple is joined in the water by their adopted son
Boy (Johnny Sheffield), a turtle, and an elephant” – Dany Peary, Cult Movies

    • Robert says:

It was probably the bush scene.
They were so carried away making sure no boob showed they missed looking down at the hairy evidence that Jane was NOT a Jeff as the woke crowd would say.

  4. Viv Bolus says:

Great site (still) many thanks – A while back you kindly got The Small World of Sammy Lee up – I wonder if you can get It Always Rains On Sunday 1947, old I know but great slice of London & top film!
