During the night, noise conspires to keep him awake and the historian is astonished to come face to face with door number 13. Continuing his work, a history of a reformation era witchcraft scandal emerges. The nocturnal disturbances escalate, leading Anderson with no choice but to open the door to room number 13.

Is this a Ghost Story for Christmas? I see it paired with “A View from a Hill” as Ghost Stories… and “A View from a Hill” is part of Ghost Stories Before Christmas… Not sure how to classify this one…

They are all stories of the supernatural based on short stories by M.R. James and a Christmas ghost story is traditional in the UK. “he didn’t have a soul he had a corkscrew”
Try and get the “The Tractate Middoth”.
