  3. Jair Mello says:

    I do not believe!!

I was going to send a suggestion to you by email to post this miniseries, “Lace” and today I joined here and it is already posted.
    It seems thought transmission.
    Thank you, Rarelust!!

  4. Ali says:

Epic movie, can’t believe THIS turned up here!

  5. James says:

The book was real raunch, almost porn. Is there any nudity in this TV version?

    • Anthony says:

By the standards of this site, very little raunch, and no nudity.
(Based on a book? To think trees were killed in order to print this! :-) )

  6. carlo says:

Thank u so much for this Rarelust.

  7. Anthony says:

This is a very cheesy drama, and it “features” some of Phoebe Cates’ worst acting, but who can forget the immortal line near the end of the movie?
    Incidentally…
    :-)

    • Anthony says:

Almost all of the movie is flashbacks, so my previous comment was slightly misleading: The unforgettable line appears at the end of the first part, with the scene starting at approximately 2:15:50.

Warning: If you love Phoebe Cates, avoid this movie; it won’t leave you with a good impression of her as an actress. :-) And I’m saying this as someone who thought Drop Dead Fred was OK.

RL: By the way, if you can somehow find Phoebe’s TV movie from 1990, Largo Desolato, that would be great.
