Does the DVD that English dubbed version came from really look that bad? It’s so pixelated and a bit blurry in medium shots. That’s from a German disc? Disappointing.

I use https://translate-subtitles.com/ all the time
With Subler for the mac
– open MKV.
– select all the audio and subtitles
– Add Metadata and cover art by pressing Command Shift M
– Save As Mp4
– Then you can select the subtitle track and hit File->Export
– Run it through website above and download translated file
– Drag that into the subler window and select it is the default subtitle if you want
– Just resave (Command S)
