Description: Wet Gold is the story of a young woman (Laura), who works as a waitress in a cafe. I wondered why Brooke Shields & Burgess Meredith would do a TV movie in 1984, when they were both so big. It turns out this was not a made for tv production at all, and played in theaters in Europe. I guess they couldn’t find a distributor in the USA. I’m hoping for a bluray restoration, as Brooke fans would love it. Until then this VHS rip is gold….wet gold :)
