Should also be called “ATRAGON 2”. It’s just as badass as THAT Film–and features The Gotengo!
Atragon 2 had already been made in 1969, AKA Latitude Zero (1969).
If anything, “The War in Space” should also be called “Battle in Outer Space 2”, as that’s how it was originally announced before the release.
Also, that ship is not the The Gotengo. It’s the UNSF Gohten, which design-wise is a cross between the Space Battleship Yamato and the Gotengo.
