I noticed it’s about 5 minutes shorter. Was anything significant cut? or is one of those PAL conversion differences?

An iconic film. Even though by now everyone knows the surprise ending, the film is beautifully written, flawlessly directed and exquisitely acted. One of the best horror films of the 70s.
