Superb quality, and it feels very modern.
INFO for THOSE who want to know:
An Anglicised version of a play written for Swedish television by Ingmar Bergman. Translations of the play were also produced in several other countries, with the plot usually adapted to that country, rather than a Swedish setting being retained.
Quality in provenence, and BBC creation.
Unknown (at least by me) in the USA.
Thanks for this Bergman addition, rarelust!
Yes RL thanks heaps for this Play for Today ep, & I echo those replies you have there, especially would love to see The Long Distance Piano Player starring Ray Davies of the Kinks. Great stuff!
on vhs only
Thank you for this, and I echo the above comment: please upload any and all episodes of Play for Today.
This is great! Will you be uploading any other Play for Today? I would love to see ‘A Photograph’ in the next update!

Or even a good quality version of ‘The Flipside of Dominick Hide’?
