A well made movie with nice aesthetics, although in a minimalistic fashion, and interesting as a comparison with the remakes. But: It’s practically impossible to identify or sympathize with any of the characters.
The driver acts without emotions and mimic expressions like a robot, which made me loose interest in what’s happening to him pretty soon. Isabelle Adjani doesnt have a lot to act too, but that adds to the mystery about her character. I also missed car pursuits, the story centers around the triangle of driver, cop and mystery girl.
