Thank you, one of the better ones. It doesn’t seem to get much air time though.
The second storyline (with Howard Keel and Janet Scott) would be close to RATED R in this day and age. Still, this original movie is BETTER than that BBC mini-series during the mid-’80s.
Have to disagree there: the 1981 BBC mini-series
(https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0081850/?ref_=tt_sims_tt_i_1) had a better representation of the Wyndham novel. I’d definitely like to obtain a copy of it, in its entirety.
