Then called “the definitive horror movie”, in fact the harshest indictment of Hollywood as an industry of youth. Took 70 years for Jamie Lee Curtis Halloween 2018 to disprove it (hooray!).
Whatever Happened to Baby Jane beats Halloween by 50+ years and people came to see Michael Myers, not Jamie Lee
No Jamie Lee no Halloween. The only reason Hollywood presently uses older stars is to connect old blockbusters with their audiences at that time, the game’s on you. Industry of youth 2.0. Not really bad if you want to feel young that way lack of powerful new stars on the other.
Great film — many thanks!
Thanks for including the commentary track!
Masterpiece. Thanks!
