Just watched the new Scorsese documentary and right now I want to get back into him so bad. Excited to see he’s on the commentary for this. Looks like an amazing role for Newman.
Wonderful film, especially with the Steve McQueen cameo, with one of the most powerful entrances ever.
RARELUST — could you maybe, perhaps post another classic fighter-film, the underseen superclassic HARD TIMES 1975 with Charles Bronson and James Coburn, fairly recently released in a nice US blu with interviews with Lawrence Gordon and Walter Hill?
I know Robert Wise but I was unaware of this movie, a “Rocky” before “Rocky”, have I read. Thanks a lot for the discovery!
