One of the few truly great TV movies.
One of the best of the the TV-movies of the 1970’s, based (as well as Twilight Zone’s ‘King 9 will not return’) on the mystery of the “Lady Be Good”, a B24 found in 1958 — 450 miles into the Libyan desert, crash-landed with no evidence of the crew having died in the crash or walked away from it. (The mystery was eventually solved, and all but one of the dead crew recovered.) The scream of the flag being “red, white and black” sticks with you…
