Some info about this film; I was fortunate to see the full length, Italian cut of “Il sergente Klems,” and it is pretty Epic. It was originally shot in 2;35 “scope” and runs a good 30 minutes longer. I wish they would stop dumbing down European films for the American market. This movie deserves a blu ray restoration because it is a superb War drama…

The one commenting that this is a “bad copy” should understand that some of these ,movies are extremely rare and the copy posted here just might be the only way you will be able to see the movie at all. This turned out to be an excellent film and the picture quality, although not up to current standards, is very watchable. It’s even a widescreen copy I’m grateful for the opportunity to see such a rare movie.
