Thank you!
added Koch Media Uncut Version
This picture is better than you think. I have an affinity for it because I LOVE Kings Dominion (I wasn’t at it’s 1976 Opening, but after 1977, I adopted it…and to see THE REBEL YELL immortalized was worth it–I’m a “survivor” of BOTH Cars…in The Front!!). But, yeah, ROLLERCOASTER is better than you’d think.
Thanks, Rarelust…and for the SENSURROUND as well.
I was wondering if you could source the “Unrated Cut” featuring the little snippets of gore/blood missing from the theatrical version, that is on the Koch Media German & 101 Films UK Bluray releases?
ok
Thank you so very much, it’s greatly appreciated!!
Silly me the reason why the Shout Release is 18 secs longer is the opening credits disclaimer regarding the 3.1 “Sensurround” audio :)
Thanks for this clarification … I’d downloaded the Theatrical version. Will now download the Koch uncut version
Is there any chance uploading the “Unrated Cut” version as Shout Factory’s Bluray release is missing a few frames of gore compared to Koch Media’s German & 101 Films’ UK Bluray releases?
Strange that Shout Factory’s Bluray release is 18 seconds longer yet is missing a couple of frames compared to the “Unrated Cut”, https://dvdcompare.net/comparisons/film.php?fid=37888#overall
Correction: Directed by James Goldstone
Glad to see they’ve included the 3.1 “Sensurround” with this.
Written by the creators of Columbo and Murder She Wrote! Not to mention 2 excellent TV mystery movies with multiple twists and turns. “Murder By Natural Causes” and “Rehearsal For Murder.” If you can track them down, I recommend them wholeheartedly.
Thank. Watch out for the Sparks concert sequence towards the end!
Oh!? Is *this* the failed Sparks promotional film? From the documentary The Sparks Brothers, I gathered this movie is quite bad, as a turkey classic, perhaps? The mentioning of Hitchcock on the poster may be interpreted as “Better leave movie making to Hitchcock”, I guess.
What a sad and trite comment. And no, this isn’t a “failed” promotional video for Sparks. The movie did quite well and is very well made, and is very much on a Hitchcokian level of suspense. This movie is miles better than that horrid “documentary”, which was nothing but a bunch of celebrities proclaiming how much they like the band.
No it’s actually pretty good.
