Several notches above the usual Beach movies with Annette Funicello and Frankie Avalon, and…Elvis…”Ride the Wild Surf” makes an attempt at seriousness, plus it features wall to wall authentic surfing footage that brings this one closer to “The Endless Summer” than “Beach Blanket Bingo..”
