Thank you,very very much!
Thank you, R.L., for posting this and the first film. I love the commentaries! Any chance we can get THE CREATURE WALKS AMONG US (1956), the last Gill Man film in the Creature Trilogy? It would be so awesome if it had a commentary by Tom Weaver as well! Thanks again for all that you do!
THIS was my introduction to “the Gillman”, via (gotta give the credit where it’s due here) a late-autumn, dark after 4:30 PM, Saturday Afternoon “Science Fiction Theater” Matinee on Washington, DC’s WDCA-Channel 20, in 1972—
—and I was SET FOR LIFE. (I also hope to catch it in 3D on a Big Screen “revival” eventually, as well.).
Plus, yea–a young “sci-fi cameo hero” Clint Eastwood appears here (dude just killed a big-ass spider a couple months prior, rumor has it.).
My Gosh, Rarelust, don’t ever stop doing what you’re doing. You forever ROCK!!
Commentary is with film historian Tom Weaver, actress Lori Nelson and sci-fi historian/author/archivist Bob Burns.
One of Clint Eastwood’s small roles is the scientist in this film.
P.S.: The widescreen version is actually just a “matted” version of this one (black bars on top and bottom of this image),so you don’t really lose any information on the sides, but rather GAIN some on the upper and lower parts of the frame. Kudos to you for uploading this, and thanks again.
Thanks for the upload! This HD fullscreen version is ten times better than the godawful blurry widescreen one that was released last year in the official Creature complete set. You’re awesome!
