Watched this last night, an absolute classic, surprised that it’s not better known – great story, atmosphere & location, shows the Port of London as it was just after the war.
Highly recommended piece of British Noir.
One of the two leads, Bonar Colleano, was in a bunch of interesting movies before he died young, be fantastic to see more of them, eg ONCE A JOLLY SWAGMAN aka MANIACS ON WHEELS (1949) with Colleano and Dirk Bogarde.
