Thank you for this as well!
Speaking of John ‘Bud’ Cardos, according to IMDb, he’s “rumored” to be in a little known X rated Adamson film called “Lash of Lust”. The description – ‘The man who hears with his eyes and speaks with his gun. The 1972 Al Adamson cowboy post-western movie set near Charles Manson’s ranch.’ This is a curious item with little info and no running time listed. Adamson’s “Angel’s Wild Women” was released in 1971 and was also filmed around the same ranch. Here’s the “Lash of Lust” entry: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0056166/?ref_=nm_flmg_t_4_act
LASH OF LUST is considered a lost film. When Severin Films released a box set of all of Al Adamson’s films a few years ago, they discussed this film in the set’s booklet. Despite a thorough search for any elements, they could find nothing. Even producer Sam Sherman has never seen the film! The booklet did show some small, b&w stills from the film, and featured a few tidbits of info about the shoot, but that was it. It was the only movie from Adamson’s filmography that wasn’t included in the box set.
Hey, more Al Adamson fallout. This one looks like some salacious ’68 exploitation. That cast tells me the credits and commentary should be interesting… I’ll bet Al is mentioned somewhere. Thanks.
Ooops, that cover!
Early Vegas and a serial killer. Count me in for this. Thanks for the commentary with Bill Ackerman.
