Regardless if you give a hoot about Alcoholics Anonymous or not, this is still a solid performance by James Woods, as we watch him hit rock bottom after riding high. Don’t expect something great like Barfly (1987), but for a TV movie, My Name Is Bill W. is likewise worthy of classic, Americana history.
