The original storyline of this movie was Jim (Morrison’s) according to Ray.
According to Ray, Jim devised the plot, and it was going to be his movie he wanted to make, for his Masters Degree.
But as we all know… he didn’t in the end go for his Masters, and and so didn’t make the film, and instead the group he was in made the big time, and things turned out, quite differently!
