Man, I miss Crichton. Smart, smart, smart, yet fun writing.
Not the greatest director, but he understood how to tell a good entertaining, original story, whether it be by book, TV or in the movies.
He is the only person to have the #1 TV show, the #1 selling book, and the #1 grossing movie, all at the same time.
He was making it big in the 90s, and then the big C showed up in the mid-2000s.
