Saw this on TV when i was kid. Mathilda May was stuck on my mind. Bought the VHS and the novel when i got older. Its a classic.

The scenes at the Space Centre were filmed in my old workplace. The Ever Ready building in Whetstone, North London. Sadly the nude scenes were shot at night when we plebs weren’t there.
The film’s working title was Space Vampires, and the crew walked around in jackets with that name on them.
Any chance of getting a version with the three audio commentaries as heard on this release > Lifeforce.1985.DC.1080p.BluRay.REMUX.AVC.DTS-HD.MA.5.1-EPSiLON.mkv
I’m guessing nobody has ever happened upon the legendary “Original” 128min Director’s Cut ?
It looks like this 116 minute version is the best we’ll ever get.

Great movie! This would probably have been a sci-fi classic and a Best Special Effects Oscar winner if it hadn’t featured long scenes with a fully nude woman, which gave the critics ample reason to disregard it. Now it’s a genuine cult classic.

I missed it when it hit the theaters–by 3 weeks!!–back in the ’80s, so I made up for it by renting the hell outta that VHS (just to see Mathilda Mays!!). I LOVE this movie.
