Another lost film here ..like “Scorpio Nights,” these oddball films can only be found on old VHS tapes. so we should be grateful that these less than perfect copies exist ..I wish those lost Andy Milligan movies had made it to VHS tape before the originals were destroyed ..would sell a piece of my liver for a copy of Milligans “The Filthy Five…”. I feel like THESE uploads are the most valuable movies that the Rarelust guys share here….it’s a very important service that you provide and we thank you sincerely…for the tireless research that must go into creating this amazing site…

This is also the cut version. The uncut version was X-Rated due to explicit rape scene, gay sex scene on beach. Unfortunately that version may be lost for good in the fire that destroyed almost all the prints of this classic. I’ve seen the Xrated version in the late 70’s early 80’s ironically on the late late late show on ABC TV. Apparently the individual in charge slipped in the adult version to air 3am. That happened about three times and then no more. I was a teen then. By the time I was old enough to go looking for that version, it was nowhere to be found. It was available once on VHS. In 2020 a reel of the film was found in Australia that may be the uncut version. If so, it maybe the only one that exists and its condition is unknown. I will keep looking, but this one ain’t it.
This is a real rarity. I was at a screening of this recently with Bruce Davison and that was the only know print in existence (16mm) and it was incomplete so this may be lost after VHS.
