He was into (““ahem“`) “Recycling”, long before it was a thing regarding a couple of Brazilian Chicks and a Cup—IF You Catch Me!!
This film played at DC’s Biograph when it came out, and well, THEY WEREN’T READY (despite the fact that this is the same crowd who went Goth Nuts every Friday-Sunday Night at the time, as “Rocky Horror” was a late-night staple there.). Speaking of DC, rumor has it that Allen also played The Bayou back in the day (not being a punker, I missed that, thankfully.). So, I’m dying to see this (been trying to RENT IT when it came out, but it disappeared with faster than lightning from DC Video Shelves–like I said, I WASN’T a Punker, but DC had a STRONG “Hardcore” base, and when word got out about this on Video, they JUMPED on it!).
