Another movie with a very similar storyline to “Hardcore…” father searching for his junkie daughter in the porno movie underground..The movie, called “Drying Up the Streets” is a Canadian production released in 1978, a year before “Hardcore..” This movie makes “Hardcore” seem like a walk in the park by comparison..It looks like it never had a release beyond the VHS back in the 80’s…If you have access to “Drying Up the Streets..” please share it on Rarelust..
“Drying Up the Streets” can be found using your friend google. Unlikely it will ever be released on Bluray… seems that the actors are not exactly superior to George C. Scott… but then I am prejudiced…
