I’d love to find a good clean copy with the other English soundtrack. The song was great and I miss hearing those “Save The Earth” lyrics (I still have a worn out VHS copy with that music, but no working VHS player anymore).
I think there were different dialogue spots too in that other version.

Greatest WAIT-FOR-IT Moment–EVER–in Kaiju History during the main climatic battle near the end of the film. So Frickin’ Odd-Awesome, that TOHO told Yoshimitsu Banno to “GitDaF8ck OUT!!”…literally…they FIRED him.
ONLY to have Peter Jackson HIRE him a generation later for “Legendary GODZILLA” in 2014…
…and, if watch the First Battle of THAT Movie, you’ll (sorta see) a redo of the First Battle of THIS Movie, just for spite and fun.
OH–BOTH VERSIONS of the Opening Song, a big plus.
