I was never into King Kong or Godzilla back in the day. I always did prefer watching Gamera films on early Saturday morning shows that feature monster movie marathons all the time along with the cheesy martial arts movies from Hong Kong.
I will never understand these movies.
These movies are a metaphor for the human condition, juxtaposed with a myriad of superfluous eccentricities.
