Believe it or not the film is a loose adaptation of Shakespeare’s The Tempest starring Leslie Nielsen. Robby the Robot described as “the harmonious synthesis of scientific advance and social good as at last the powerful tool which man is unable to turn upon himself”., omg! Sci-fi classic courtesy RL.
