Awesome Mafia movie! The NYC location filming is iconic..”Fear In the City” has got to be a favorite of Tarantino.. The only explanation for THIS not having been picked up for bluray restoration is that all 35mm prints have been lost or damaged..Hopefully a good print will be found some day because this thing would look beautiful in hi-def! Until then this Greek subtitled VHS print will be treasured by genre fans. It seems like the only version released in North America was only 88 minutes long and a review of that version claims that Fred Williamson is is only seen for a few seconds; I’m assuming that 88 minute version omits all his scenes, because he is very prominently featured in this 2 hour version…
